Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the Thuca Words app. By using the app, you agree to them.
Who this app is for
Thuca Words is designed for young children with supervision by an adult parent or guardian. Children should always use the app with an adult nearby.
License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-commercial license to use the app on your device. You may not redistribute, modify, reverse engineer, or commercialize the app without our written permission.
Parental responsibility
Parents or guardians are responsible for:
- Deciding whether the content is appropriate for their child.
- Supervising their child’s use of the app.
- Keeping the device safe and up to date.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the app for any illegal or abusive purpose, or in a way that violates the rights of others.
App content
Text, images, and audio in the app are provided for educational purposes. Music and sound effect credits are listed on the “About” screen.
Premium purchases
- Thuca Words offers one optional, one-time purchase (“premium”) that unlocks additional content. It is a single, non-consumable unlock — not a subscription, and it does not renew or charge you again.
- Purchases are processed entirely by Google Play Billing (and, once available, the Apple App Store) under their own payment terms. We do not process or store your payment details.
- Refund requests are handled by the store you purchased through, under its own refund policy (for Google Play, see Google’s refund policy).
- If you are a consumer in the European Union / EEA, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a digital-content purchase within 14 days under the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), unless you have expressly consented to immediate access and acknowledged the loss of that right beforehand. Where this right applies, contact us or the store to exercise it.
- Nothing in this section limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of the country where you reside.
No warranties
The app is provided “as is”, without express or implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, error-free operation, or continuous availability. We are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the app.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this document indicates the most recent version. Continued use of the app after an update means acceptance of the new version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Regardless of this, the mandatory consumer-protection laws of the country where you reside still apply and prevail where they grant you greater protection.
